CUSTOM SILK PRODUCT MANUFACTURING
Silk Product Development For Brands & B2B Buyers
Project Process
A clear six-step workflow for custom silk product development.
Share product type, artwork, material, size, quantity and target timeline.
Review material, construction, printing, finishing, quantity and packaging feasibility.
Confirm specifications, sampling scope, MOQ, quotation and estimated timing.
Develop samples according to the confirmed requirements.
Approve sample, color, size, workmanship and packaging details.
Proceed to bulk production, in-process checks, final inspection and packing.
OEM & ODM Development
Begin with complete product specifications or develop an initial concept into a clearer product direction. Each pathway is structured around the information and requirements available at the start of your project.
OEM Program
A production-led pathway for buyers who already have defined artwork, confirmed product dimensions, material requirements and brand specifications.
Suitable For
Projects with established designs, confirmed product structures and clearly documented production requirements.
ODM Program
A development-led pathway for buyers who have a theme, reference direction or target market, but have not yet completed the full product specification.
Suitable For
Projects beginning with a concept, moodboard, intended use or market direction rather than a production-ready specification.
Scope confirmation: Development support may include selected layout, color and product specification assistance, subject to project requirements and confirmation before sampling.
Shared Manufacturing Capabilities
Start with the product shape, intended use and required dimensions. Hengwang reviews whether the proposed format and size are suitable for the selected material, construction and production method.
Material selection is reviewed together with product weight, hand feel and structural requirements. Construction details are confirmed according to the product format and the expected finished appearance.
Artwork is reviewed for layout, pattern scale, placement and production feasibility. Color references are translated into sample development, allowing the final direction to be evaluated before bulk production.
Finishing and presentation requirements are reviewed as part of the complete product specification. Available solutions may include edge finishing, product labels, hangtags, barcode application and suitable packing formats.
Project Preparation
The information required at the beginning of a project depends on whether the product is already fully specified or still needs further development. Providing a complete brief helps us review feasibility, sampling requirements, quotation and estimated timing more accurately.
OEM Program
Best suited to buyers who already have completed artwork, dimensions, material requirements and brand specifications.
ODM Program
Best suited to buyers who have a theme, reference direction, intended use or target market, but have not completed the full specification.
